The Forest Feast

Blood Orange and Purple Cabbage Salad

This week I want to share my newest favourite blog. (I have a lot of “favourites” but I really can’t get enough of this one!) The Forest Feast is a truly beautiful blog by photographer Erin Gleeson; she has created a series of “photographic recipe illustrations” that are absolutely gorgeous. What’s more, it features amazing seasonal recipes that are inspired by the ingredients of her local CSA boxes in Northern California. (Seasonal cooking + local ingredients + foggy forests in Northern Cali + colourful, rustic pictures = most of my favourite things in life!)

There are so many recipes I can’t wait to try, but I think I’m going to start with one of these…

Oven Baked Kale Chips

Forest Feast Bloody Mimosa

Butternut Caprese Salad

Butternut Caprese Salad

Spiced pumpkin seeds

Make sure to check out The Forest Feast for yourself! I hope you love it as much as I do.
